What do you eat in between meals? I carry a chobani Greek yogurt and a fruit with me to eat around 3pm, but the yogurt isn't really healthy, is it? It contains sugar and eating everyday doesn't look like a great option. I go to the gym around 7pm, so I am usually hungry between 3pm and 7pm and crave a meal during that time. Suggestions for something filling and healthy?
Sugar isn't going to kill you. Greek yogurt is high protein and filling for relatively low calories. Fruit also has sugar, but also lots of fiber and micronutrients.
I am overweighted, I'll have to cut sugar to lose weight
False. You need to cut calories to lose weight. 100 calories of sugar is exactly the same as 100 calories of anything else when it comes to weight loss. That's not to say the composition of your calories doesn't affect overall health, but the sugar in Greek yogurt and fruit will not have a negative effect as part of an overall healthy diet.
Snickers. It really satisfies.

It has a couple likes, so I guess it was valuable to someone.
Eat more at lunch and skip your afternoon snack
I have lunch between noon and 1pm. Staying hungry until 9pm till I get my dinner ready is really tough
How about an early dinner at 6? Having that late of a dinner is not good for you anyway
Eat celery, and cucumbers. You're welcome 😘
Thankful that you spelt "you're" correctly.
He also used the Oxford comma because his brain works faster than a computer as evident by his name.
Skinny dipped almonds. They’re low on sugar and 😋
Carrots and hummus
It's not bad actually. Just remember that hummus requires a fair amount of oil to be made, and the type of oil matters in such quantities. Check the ingredients
You would be surprised how easy is to preapre homemade hummus. You control all the ingredients, amount of oil etc and it typically comes out much better than packed junk (unless it is israeli hummus, of course)
Black coffee with butter or coconut oil. Kills hunger but satisfies
Interesting...
are you going to workout in the evening or morning? Depends on that, if you are going to have a workout plan after your snack, then the extra bit of sugar isn’t that bad, you are going to burnout glycogen levels anyway.
I am not a gym freak, so I don't want to include sugar in my time anticipating that i am gonna burn it later in the day. I want to have something healthy and filling. I workout in the evening after work.
Baby carrots with/without dip Dried fruit (dates my fav) Nuts (almonds, walnuts, pistachio atleast four times a week) Berries Juicing (, *not smoothies, only if feasible ofcourse or If you have juice bar at work. Works like a charm for me) Dark chocolate (strictly once a week) Seeds (chia/flax/ sunflower/pumpkin; preferably not salted) Oatmeal snack/ granola bar Fruits (for healthy skin) Hard boiled eggs/protein shake
Fruit doesn't seem healthy. On the other hand, plain non fat Greek yogurt is a good snack. 15g protein and only 6 carbs.
How is fruit not healthy? Greek yogurt has 14g sugar
Depends on the fruit if you're trying to lose weight. If you're pounding away bananas probably not a good idea
