My brothers in supply chain - given how critical our role is to any org and how underpaid we are compared to s/w people, I finally put my foot down and said no to a big name who was offering 150 base for ~10 years experience. Wish more people in our field would stand up for themselves and ask for their true worth. Oh well someone had to start!
Not just Supply Chain also the whole rest of engineering fields
Why are you comparing yourself to SWE? You should compare yourself to supply chain. I'm underpaid compared to executive management, time to put my foot down.
You seem EXTREMELY worried that people are finally standing up and challenging the code-monkey salaries. What’s really going on?

Avoid teams with only Chinese or Indians especially with a Chinese/Indian manager
Hell yeah. Thats crazy. Honestly I don't understand why new grads are getting 150k + offers as swe. It's a bad system that's based on competition not skill level.
Basic supply and demand I suppose.
