Swiggy vs Myntra SDM

I am currently expecting offers from both swiggy and myntra for Sr. Engineering manager role for Bangalore location. What should i expect as TC from them? It will help a lot in negotiating. YOE :12+ Current TC: 47 lpa

Both companies are present only in India and its extremely likely that people working in India would be answering what OP asked. Writing these numbers in USD adds a useless extra step to convert them to INR to answer the question. So you should use a currency converter to satisfy your curiosity or GTFO :)

Haha, I tend not to think that I am much underpaid. I had different priorities some time back and during that phase, I didn't care much about the money. But I am back in the TC rat race now :-) I will surely hope for double, but I don't think thats happening. Most companies raise some percentage over your current base only. Do you know of anybody who got such raise, in India?

Don’t expect much from Myntra. Swiggy is on hiring spree currently as they are opening their office in Hyderabad also, you can take offer from Myntra and ask swiggy to give you hike over the Myntra offer. Myntra will roughly give 65-70lpa. But swiggy can give up to 85lpa

Do you have any data points for these numbers or you are just working out the average range for the position? What about work culture and growth? Should Swiggy still be considered over Myntra?

In swiggy you can expect high growth and poor work life balance and in Myntra, since Walmart has acquired, salary growth has become very limited, but work life balance is good. Swiggy is paying anything to on-board good people. But do note that their expectations will be very high as they are expanding drastically. Whereas Myntra’s budget to hire is very very limited. They give base pay as per Walmart salary band (which is very less as compared to that of swiggy) and also the Flipkart shares that Myntra gives are very less. The numbers are more or less driven by your current salary. Myntra will give hike up to 40percent of your current base and then shares worth of 50-60lpa for 4 years. And swiggy can give 20-30 percent hike over myntra’s offer.

I've been away from India for more than 10 years so these numbers are just mind boggling to me. Just for my curiosity, how much of this expected 65-70 lpa TC is in stocks and how much is base (cash)? And what's the vesting period like.

Its insane... With 4.5 yrs of experience my CTC is nearly 50 lpa with 45 cash component.. Seniors with 10 yrs of exp or more make easily 1 cpa
