Switch from Azure Networking to Amazon Confidential project?
Started at Azure a little under year ago on a infrastructure/networking team doing low level & embedded work . Have opportunity to jump to Amazon team working on a confidential project (Lab126). Current team has a lot of ops work but learning a ton (scaling, system design etc.). Confidential team seems more exciting and potentially better career growth wise if the project takes off. Stay with low level networking at Azure or jump to secret project ? Yoe: <~1 TC: 130

with less than 1yoe, stay put. If you go to lab126 and need to change again, your resume would have a problem (switching too often). At microsoft azure you can stay 2 years, then it is good to make change.

Depends on the skill set you want in the future. If it's what you're getting now, changing so soon is a gamble (probably another year might get you a promo?) If the skill set would be from Amazon (along with more pay), switching makes sense.
