Sync up with potential manager in Amazon Vancouver
Hey guys, I have first call with my potential manager in Amazon Vancouver. Actually, HR has found an opening in a team in Amazon Vancouver and I am going to have a call with him/her. I asked hr and he said this will just be small introduction and no technical question will be asked but just to be sure as I do not want to take a risk, I want to ask you all if anybody has went through this path before? I have cleared all the previous four rounds of interview and HR told me that I am selected. Has anyone of you has encountered this sync up before moving to Canada and can you tell me if I should be expecting any technical questions in this sync up ? I am planning to migrate from india.
If you already have offer then this may be call to tell you more about team and may be some high level discussion about what your career goal etc it happens some time in Amazon that candidates bounce around teams due to various org changes and new hiring manager do phone call to ensure candidate is comfortable with new team.
