TC range L7 Amazon
What’s the range of base pay and TC for Amazon L7 (Senior Solutions Architect)
260 to 377k outside of SFO or NYC. It would be rare to come in anywhere near the top however. When you see SA’s at 400k TC it’s thanks to generous RSU growth.

Sr SA is L6 not L7
I see. Although the recruiter told me it’s L7 and the job desc mentioned Sr SA. Anyway, what’s the L7 role name in SA world?
Principal SA. Sometimes managers are open to L6 or L7 depending on interview.
You have to be very high up in C1 scale to get L7 (min Sr Distinguished Engineer).
I don’t think there is such a direct correlation. I know Sr Manager(Lead) and Director(Dist Eng) who have both joined L7 in Amazon in different cities. As the others have pointed out, it’s more like the level of interview you can clear (with solid experience of course)

I wouldn’t look at it in such a way as just being able to pass the loop and have a solid background. The L7’s on my team are expected to make amazing things happen. A solid SA can easily not be meeting the L7 performance bar and that is not good in a stack rank system.

Current TC? I am guessing high 400s or you can touch 500k based on your skill set
Thanks. Is this the same across all L7s? Or does it change based on role. For instance is it different for a Sr Sol Arch compared to a Principle SDE.
