TC posts I've seen here are based on the initial offer (salary, equity grant, and signing). I'm curious how TC looks when factoring growth related to annual raises, bonuses, and refreshers over time. For example: Year 1: 250k Year 2: 280k ( $__ raise, $__ refresher, $__ bonus) Year 3: 350k ( $__ raise, $__ refresher, $__ bonus)
This depends a lot on individual and company performance
You can simulate this in a spreadsheet. There was a recent post about refreshers as well, which I think is the only sparse data. Everything else you have to estimate on growth and historical data. Too many variables. A person staying at same level and one being promoted will look very different. Different levels also affects target bonus percentage and number of refreshers.
