What is a good salary working at TCS? I am in Irving Texas, although salary could be anywhere. Is this a good job or no?
Typically with consultancies, it all depends on the client for whom you will work for. Also pay is generally way below market rates for tech roles. There might be few exceptions though.

I gat 145K base with 9K bonus and 5% match.
I think that is a good pay based on what I heard TCS would give generally..
What role ? brm?
I'd look elsewhere.
Can’t get any good offers in the Bay, I wanted that name brand “Google” resume gold, but they rejected me 2x, and I am uninterested in this profession.
TCS salaries are usually on the lower end as far as IT firms go, with the deliberate trade off of job security. I make roughly 80k yearly in the Ohio area with a variable bonus (last few years have been wonky) and 5% matching. Chances are you are a lateral hire, and might be onboarded at a higher rate. Can't say for that.
So TCS gives job security? Why do we hear about massive layoffs then? Aren't they just random?
Oh TCS doesn't ever lay-off! Dint u know?
Thats right. TCS has lowest salary compared to other vendors. The justifications are stupid. One of my friend works at TCS for last 2 years and I haven’t seen salary change. Quick numbers: Ohio 75k, Connecticut 85k , Schenectedy 68k !!!!!! I would suggest you to look for other companies if you have good skillset or else you can keep stacking years of experience like any other TCS employees.
What are the justifications?
I didn't see enough activity in Blind from TCS folks. You have slim chances of expecting a response coming for this question from the US workforce..
