Anyone have any experience with premium processing times taking longer than 15 days for TN visas lately?
I'm also waiting for a TN which is being obtained using premium processing. OP are you just curious if it will take longer than 15 days or have you been waiting for more than 15 days? My application was submitted last week.
I haven’t been waiting for longer than 15 days but I’m wondering if it’s possible it will take longer than 15 days. Any idea?
I'm in the same boat as you. Was also curious about how likely it can be processed within 15 days, especially since there's a 4-day long weekend coming up. Hopefully it does get processed within the advertised 15 days. Are you doing a fresh TN or change of employer? Do you know what the success rate is for approved petitions?
Following. I am joining on H1 transfer receipt. If denied I plan to apply for TN.
How'd things work out?
Still working on H1 transfer. Haven’t joined yet.
Also, anyone know what the border crossing experience is like once have have premium approval? I. E. Can I cross sometime before my start date? Do I get a interview etc?
I had mine applied for within the US. No interview.
Mike took 3 weeks. This was in 2014
I just got mine, took 10 calendar days.
@YwWb48.. yes you can cross the border.. while entering US you have to tell the officer that you want both the TNs as you didn’t quit your job yet and you plan to join the new employer in 1 or 2 weeks. You are allowed to have more than one valid TN’s at any point of time
Checking out this thread in 2021. Submitted all the documents on September 30 and haven’t heard back from anyone yet. Anxiously waiting for my TN to be premiumly processed. Looks like things are slow because of covid...
Did you get it eventually slack?
Yup, they had to push back my start date by a month but I eventually got an approval. Best of luck!
I'll find out soon I guess. Pm If ya want to chat.
How long have you been waiting?
Only just submitted.
