Take vacation before on boarding or ...?
I will be on boarding soon ( H1B transfer now). Would like to take an oversea vacation but not sure if it is good to take it right after transfer visa is approved(I need to stay in the US during VISA process) . Since the boss will have waited for me so long already, not sure if he likes to wait for me for another 3wks for vacation. Or is it good to take vacation 1 month after on boarding?
You should take the vacation before transfer started, but attorney can still work on lca and preparation and field transfer when you are back from vacation
Before is always better. That’s your best time to rejuvenate and get prepped for next gig. Enjoy!

Just go to New Orleans or somewhere fun in the states if it’ll be an issue. I’ve lived all over the world but it will take you a long time to cover all the cool spots in the states
