Anyone have a reference for a CPA or financial advisor who can help with understanding how to better protect oneself from taxes? I’m not wealthy by any means but I’m at the point where I need more sophisticated knowledge on how to approach financial matters. Thank you
Who do you bank with? Often times banks can assist you with a good understanding of financial matters. Except maybe not Well Fargo. Sorry Wells Fargoians. Too soon? Just go into your bank or make an appointment, it’s free and you can still see a financial consultant afterwards. You might as well start with the free advise. Someone once told me that you should have at least a years worth of expenses readily available to you at all times. This is the fund you will draw on in the event of a lay-off or other unfortunate situation.

Would you accept a 10% salary cut for a 40% reduction in your work hours?
