Tc in India
What is the highest tc to expect in India for someone with 4 yers exp ?? And what companies should one target to achieve that ? I am not looking for trolls here. Looking for genuine replies. Comment if you have first hand information about such high paying jobs. FYI 1 lac ( Indian currency ) corresponds to ~1.4k$
In 2012, I was offered about 22lpa at 3 yoe (without stocks, the company was still resolving the legal aspects of awarding stocks to Indian employees) with a 6 lakhs sign on. Given how salaries have grown in the last half a decade, 40 should be at least something your must expect.

With 4 yrs 40 lacs....lol!!! There is kind of unspoken rule like number of years *3... This is very general statement but you can get idea. You may get lower or higher depend on company,location, job role etc. But definitely don't expect 40 lacs...it's rare..unless you are exceptionally good at what you do ..
@Nokia not true . Salaries have exploded in last couple of years and these offers are common now a days
I had seen such salaries in India but not with this YOE. With 8-10 YOE ,yeah sure 40lac+ is common in Banglore area. Unless 4 yoe+ is exceptionally good(one I knew has lot of patents), I didnt see this much salary.
4 YOE and 40 lakhs? Not happening at Amazon.

It all depends on current TC. Indian recruiters smh
