Team match with Google Brain
I’m wondering whether it’s possible to do team match with Google Brain as a SWE, quite intested in ML area and projects they are working on. Recruiter said the HeadCount in Brain is limited and usually taken by internal transfer.

It’s a loss making entity that’ll lay-off a lot of people soon.
They can sustain losses for awhile right? Also doesn’t it add value in indirect but hard-to-quantify ways like PR?
Thru 2019 from what I have read so far. PR is no justification for a billion dollar loss for Alphabet today. Especially if your whole premise is around a narrow definition of DL. www.wired.com/story/deepminds-losses-future-artificial-intelligence/amp
