Bros in Washington State, please help reject this divisive law! https://www.wsj.com/articles/tech-workers-and-asians-against-racial-preferences-11572040678 Thanks to the brothers and sisters of Microsoft, Amazon and others for your contributions! It is amazing that not a single Microsoft employee donated to support the divisive I-1000, even though Microsoft donated $20,000 to them.
What’s the law? This is paid for article
Washington state recently reinstituted affirmative action. A lot of Asians are opposed and now they've added a new measure on the ballot this November on whether to cancel affirmative action.
Here is the link to the full text of the law itself: http://bit.ly/DivisiveI1000 To sum it up, it would replace the current system of the same standard for all, with a system that uses different rules for different races...
Thanks for the link, was just starting to research this stuff last night
I am against affirmative action and I’m Latino.
I am black and I am against affirmative action. This stigma never goes away when I show up at work. When people don't respect you for what you have accomplished through hard work. They tend to think you are there because some quotas need to be filled.
Wow
Asians are the most academically discriminated against minority because they sacrifice and work hard. Of course, now this spreads to the workplace. Isn't this what America is supposed to reward?
Lol, America has never rewarded hard work, it just rewards wealth.
Take your socialist talking points somewhere else. US has reasonable social mobility and we have plenty self-made billionaires and a lot of self-made millionaires. Look at the tech sector, how many people started with nothing, student debts or less than 5k moving to the country from afar.

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
