Yup, same at fb. There are things called laptops 💻 and android phones. We still had lunch.

I was always a laughing stock in meetings with my primary Android phone and the iPhone test-device that I still don't know how to use. WHO'S LAUGHING NOW?

I am not sure how all guys supporting Apple in this case are landed into tech companies. You are behaving like illiterate who think all the issues related to a topic are same without understanding the difference between them. There is a difference between breaching privacy and hiring someone to track the data for research purposes. That is not called breaching privacy because the people gave their consent and willingly doing it. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Too bad that your opinion doesn't matter. 2.3b people would not be using it if they don't find it useful. Now do you think all of that is fake news? Judging by your intellect you may as well think so.

Millions are addicted to drugs. Are they useful? Facebook is a cancer to society. Also one small correction. Facebook doesn't see the 2 3B as people. Facebook sees it as products. They don't value humans. They just see humans as data. Facebook is evil scumbag

Let’s not waste time talking and answering to fools like alcoholic. I just pity Amazon.

Actually, alcoholic is probably a cancer to society, with his illiteracy and grammar mistakes.
Get out there and see the world- thousands of businesses depend on FB to run their business, millions of people use it to stay casually updated with their families who live on other continents.
Friends in Madrid, London, Japan, Italy- we all use it to keep in touch. It would be ridiculous to try and call / email everyone every week

Trying to troll, but not funny. When parents pay kids to mow the lawn or paint the fence, should they be thrown in prison, turd?

Smocking too much @Marijuna? Of course that’s what they do to install beta version of apps quick & easily. Quite standard practice i would say. Fb and google fault are being too big to ignore, and just be there at the right time for Apple to deflect from their China and Facetime problems

These folks who give info for gift cards are not contractors.

That's like saying everyone who completes a survey for an Amazon gift card is a contractor lol.

You guys broke the rules, plain and simple. I understand you want to defend the company that pays you.

I’m glad the Apple did this. Google and Facebook constantly hovering up private data has to stop. And targeting these apps at kids?

This isn’t a new Apple policy. FB and Google just decided to flaunt the rules and got caught
    Jan 31 3
    • Facebook LkGW23
....they are not targeting kids. These are focus groups where participants willingly sign up for a test

This is so dumb. How else can you distribute beta/alpha test apps not meant for the public?
We used to do this all the time at a startup I worked at- there are no other options
    Jan 31 3
    • Apple / Eng Marijuana
TestFlight is one option for distribution of betas to people outside the company.
      Jan 31
    • Apple / Eng Marijuana
For people inside the company, you can still use TestFlight I think, or you can use an enterprise cert.

FB and Goog were using enterprise cert for folks outside their companies.

TestFlight used to be great. Then Apple bought it and ruined everything good about it

Good job Apple. Once again you are saving humanity from evil scumbags. In past you saved us from IBM and Microsoft. Now you're saving us from Facebook and Google. We are with you Apple. Go ahead!

Seriously, this seems like a bad miscalculation on Apple part. Now, every IT head of any serious org will be pausing and thinking whether buying/allowing iPhones is worth it. Using iPhones is basically handing Apple a kill switch over their business.
