Anyone here work in sales? Looking to make a move and interested in learning about how other companies are handling comp packages for sales.
I'm in sales at MSFT. Our T plans are typically 70/30 (base/bonus target) and our S plans are 55/45 split. The T plans are for Account Technology Strategist, and Technical Solutions Professional roles. The S plans are Sales Solutions Professional, and Account Executive roles.

Are you talking about a rep or sales Engineer/Solutions Architect? Reps are typically on a 50/50 split (base/commissions). Some places cap commissions near 1-1.5 million. As a rep, it’s much easier to go on a PiP if you’re not making your number. Depending on the stage of the company, you’ll get some RSU’s. You would also work from home.
Thank you! Anyone here from MS or AMZN sales rep dept?
