Is C++ used and for which projects/roles in any of the biotech companies (e.g. @Pfizer, @Genentech, @Gilead)?
What type of work ? f/w for devices, comm stack for telemetry, genome processing...
depends on what team, biotech is pretty broad
Yes, in Roche Sequencing in Santa Clara. Just be prepared for a big paycut.
Not common in pharma, perhaps used in very few occasions or teams
The language is irrelevant, the domain knowledge is what matters, you will see C++, C#, python. No matter how good you're at programming you will be lost without the domain knowledge.
Isn't it true for any business/industry?
