Is C++ used and for which projects/roles in any of the biotech companies (e.g. @Pfizer, @Genentech, @Gilead)?

The language is irrelevant, the domain knowledge is what matters, you will see C++, C#, python. No matter how good you're at programming you will be lost without the domain knowledge.

Mostly lower level signal processing for devices. But also used in some research groups.
