Tesla: i love how every employee drinks the "we are making the planet green" Kool aid. No guys, you are adding more cars to the market and polluting way more than if we kept our older cars on the road. Regarding TSLA, I would not touch that stock in my lifetime. It's a typical noob investor stock, and the emotional level is so high that it is completely uncorrelated to the fundamentals
That is a weak argument against Tesla. So every car manufacturer is killing the environment because they make cars and take old cars off the road? I assume the pollution you're talking about is the metal and plastic cycle, not gasoline or emissions
I'm just saying their PR is not taking the full picture in account since they play the green card only on the gas savings
You could prob find an old chart that shows Amazon going through something similar back in the day. Is Tesla today, what Amazon was back in the day? A growth stock.
This is an interesting comment..would be cool to see visual comparisons 🤔
Very different businesses though. One provides a service and the other a product. Economies of scale are much different.

One of the many overhyped companies that are doomed in the next financial downturn.
Honestly, Airbnb is in the same bucket, as is Uber and Pinterest. You better ipo fast before it all goes to shit
You can debate valuations, but Airbnb is consistently profitable. It also tends to do well during downturns, as more people turn to hosting for extra cash.
