Those cars are not selling. Everyone who wants one has one.

Lol where did you get your news from

Tesla eng56 Oct 15, 2017

Lmao what. There are over half a million preorders

Poor performance reviews like the article states. Tesla expects the best. If you can't perform all of the time; it's not the company for you. They let people go across the country, and across their sister company too. It was unfortunately unexpected by most people.

Tesla parzivaI Oct 13, 2017

I'll second this

If the firings were unexpected then that means something is wrong at Tesla. Usually people know if they will be fired based on their relationship with their manager and coworkers. These firings sound very suspect

Because layoffs would affect stock prices.

Microsoft Securitay Oct 13, 2017

Layoffs tend to have positive impact on stock as it is viewed as trimming the fat. Firings don't come with severance packages

Uber LesMor Oct 13, 2017

Which division I wonder. Tesla 3 production is way behind, wonder if it's a tech or supply chain problem

SolarCity RBR5 Oct 14, 2017

All divisions.

Turns your company into a shark tank. You’re either eating others, or dropping to the bottom and getting eaten.

Tesla Jiggawatts Oct 14, 2017

I can relate. We've got too many hungry middle-managers who've been told they have "leadership-potential," one too many times. It's the Dilbert Principle: if you don't perform well enough, you better hope you've kissed enough butts to find yourself as an incompetent manager instead of being fired.

Tesla pidof(me) Oct 24, 2017

I don't understand the reference to a shark tank: we don't have stack ranking and people let go for underperforming we're clearly people their manager was unhappy with AND didn't believe they would improve in the next 6 months

Tesla akrw Oct 15, 2017

Cleaning out the trash I guess. *shrug*

BlackBerry AdultDC🐉 OP Oct 16, 2017

Nice how you refer to people as trash
