Feel like Boeing will be the the end of my technical skills if I don't find something new or different to work on. I've always been fortunate to work in a lab setting where I can develop and write tests for hardware. With much of the work no longer staying around SoCal, seems wise to think about the future of my career. I don't consider myself a developer by any means but I feel comfortable writing code/scripts for hardware testing. Are there any companies that may offer similar work? If so how do you enjoy it and how stable is the job?

Lots of companies here in the Bay Area. Every single semiconductor and system/board/HW design company would have test engineering positions.
