I have been interviewing with few companies recently. Most of the interviewers are nice but each time there will be at least one asshole type interviewer who would be either rude, or not listening or not interested in you or have ego problems. Is it only me encountering such type of people or it happens with you as well?

It's happened to me many, many times.
Sucks. One interviewer shouldn’t take you out of the running at most places tho.
Always happens. Especially in Amazon in my experience. Edit: Still got an offer from them
We are doing you a favor. You were obviously LE and we don't need you bitching in our lounge
Sometimes it is intentional to see how you would react in such situation. What happened and how did you do in those loops?
Sounds evil
Well Amazon is full of Aholes so it’s better if you can get along with them.
Just because they called you out on your weaknesses, doesnt make them an asshole.
It’s all strategic. Most of the time that sucker is the bar raiser who also wants to see how you behave under pressure or scrutiny. Just don’t take their action seriously.
I was a Bar Raiser at Amazon for 2 years. What you said is not true. There are ways to get that data without making someone's life miserable. I've seen a lot of such people who take interviews as an opportunity to thump their chests and establish dominance. Needless to say they were put in line, and therefore as a candidate you should always share your experience with the recruiter right after your interviews and before the debrief. Nobody should undergo any form of abuse.
You can ask tough questions that would put the interviewee in a spot of uncertainty and see how they make assumptions or ask clarifying questions to drive towards a solution. You can throw changes at them that throws a wrench in their design. But you’re not an asshole just to see how they handle assholes. That’s a horrible mentality.
Happening a lot with me too. I have had phone interviews with assholes and inspite of me solving the question in the best way possible and as quick as I can, I have got rejects. Some were so rude that they started doing their stuff in laptop and meanwhile I was solving problems. Some will just start writing code themselves in the coderpad like all code and work give me chance.
For me worst phone interviewer was yawning all the time (I could hear his yawns) and kept going on mute in between probably to talk with his colleagues. He never commented during the time I was coding as well
How do you know they aren’t taking interview notes on their laptop? If an interviewer is writing code before you have a chance to write it yourself, it means you are too slow and they are trying to move you along so they have time to gather other signal like testing signal.
I interviewed recently at 5 companies and didn’t encounter a single rude interviewer. It helps that I look on them positively since I got all offers.
Also you are a Googler and not from XYZ company!
I wasn’t a Googler when I was interviewing
Happens once in a while. Rude interviewers suck. Lazy interviewers suck too. Lazy interviewers are those who barely read your resume and ask standard questions that don't have any relationship to the job or your skills.
Guess you failed every one of them. Sour grape
I asked genuinely, would expect genuine answers.
Have some sympathy bro.
