I got an offer from FAANG and was not satisfied with the stock. I tried to ask more shares, but the recruiter said I’m only looking at money and will report to my hiring manager. What should I do now?
lmao what company was this
Sounds like amazon
😂. Get another offer. Then the recruiter will start offering more money.
People act like you just go out and get another offer like you’re picking up a loaf of bread and boom. An on-site interview can take at least two weeks from start to offer.
I mean on Blind apparently it’s easy, “hey guys I got 4 offers 2 from unicorns and 2 from FAANG with TC ranging from 350-400, wut should I dooooo?”
Would you say the same thing if this guy said he?
Who isn't looking for more 🤨
Talk directly to the hiring manager. Many recruiters I have met are idiots, like the one you're dealing with now.
I also had one jerk recruiter. I will say do what you feel is good. If you are not comfortable with current offer then say it loud. If they don't agree then it might be there loss. These L7 are very clever later once you are in the company no one give a shit. If you accept this now and later go for raise then these L7 only say that you didn't negotiate properly. It happens with me also. So I just say it you that say the recruiter that you want more money. You are only asking what you deserve
Apple recruiter mentioned the same thing to me. I didn’t care enough as I don’t consider Apple at the level of FANGMUL Probably, depends how badly you want the role
Ok intuit. We are happy without u
Intuit talking smack about Apple??? 😳😳😳 Dafuuuuuuuq are you on? I left Intuit a year ago. There's nothing good there. From sasan on down.
Garbage recruiter is garbage
Is it Apple?
I’ve heard Apple do this to two people already. Such snobs...
They didn’t with me. I asked for more salary. I just needed to reassure them that I liked the role and was not just playing them against another offer. I got the extra.
