Have 2 nights / 1.5 days in Chicago, next week. Recommended places ? Food ? Nightlife ? Sightseeing ?
Three dots and a dash is a cool tiki themed bar. Also Girl and the Goat and Au Cheval have great food
Au Cheval is the bee's knees.
Dont miss the lake shore drive. Night life is amazing. U can find many places to hangout in downtown
How dangerous is it? I'm going to be visiting soon and people are telling me to stay put after 7PM
Nothing to worry about if you're downtown or out on the northside.
City has great architecture check out their famous buildings
Catch a improv show at Second City.
The Weiners Circle has amazing Chicago dogs for fourth meal. Worth a stop after the bars if you're into that kinda thing.
The chocolate milkshake is pricy at $20 but it's amazing
On one of the late afternoons, take a Chicago architecture cruise from Navy Pier. If you have more time to spare (which is unlikely) take the Lake Shore drive towards north up-to Evanston, which is a nice suburb and also home of Northwestern University.
Check out river walk and get drinks at the restaurants on the river walk. Nice view
If you enjoy architecture, take one of the boat rides through downtown. You will get to see all of the buildings and learn some of the history.
