In Seattle for a week for work and brought family along. Any suggestions on things to do in Seattle, preferable indoors as kids are too young, 3 and 1 Is it worth going whale watching, the water being too cold? What’s the probability of actually seeing whales in Feb?
The aquarium 🐙
Playdatesea in SLU, Om culture in Wallingford, Ballard church, Seattle gymnastics academy all have play areas where kids can play and parents can have a reprieve.
Board games
EMP and children museum have a lot of interactive things for kids. These are near space needle. Burke museum with its dinosaur bones expo might be interesting for kids. this one on UW campus.
+1 for children’s museum
The Pacific science Center
Museum of flights pretty good. If you know anyone at MSFT, you may use the prime card, decent discounts in museums and stuff.
+1 been taking my daughter there from Seattle since she could walk. Lots of interesting things to see as you're chasing the kids ...
Rent a small dingy down by the Seattle waterfront you should see whales
Have a coffee at Cafe Allegro in U District then shop in U Village. Wander around Pike Place Market Seattle Center including kids museum and Space Needle. There are various day cruise boats from Seattle. Note Seattle is far from the coast so whale watching is as pretty long drive. (Seattle is on Puget Sound not the open ocean.) You could probably charter a sea plane for an aerial tour
Glass museum is nice. Pacific science center is good but kids may be too young to enjoy. Same with museum of flight.
