Timeline After Google Onsite SRE-SWE
Hey! A couple of days ago I completed my on-site loop for a SRE-SWE role (L3, most probably) in Europe. I think it went pretty decently, but we’ll see. I’m wondering how long does it usually take for feedback to be filled. Also wondering how much the recruiter is able to expedite the process. I’m expecting an offer from MS either tomorrow or next week, and waiting for feedback for an Amazon’s on-site. So far, I’ve kept the G recruiter up to date in terms of the status of other companies. So far the day after the interview, the recruiter was still waiting for the feedback. What’s the usual process there when the candidate has competing offers? Also, how does team matching stage for SRE-SWE work? Is it done after the HC or after signing the offer?
Feedback you might be able to hear in the first week. But it will take weeks before you can get to know the HC decision
Hopefully I can expedite the process. I’m not sure I’ll be able to hold MS such a long time
