Tinder company culture

People at Tinder, What is your work culture like? Do you reflect the demographics or lifestyle of your users in any way? Does the product itself and the way it shapes people's lives interest you, or are you there more for other reasons? Do you guys dogfood? ;)

How do you dogfood? 🤔

A stupid term for “prototyping!”

It comes from the phrase "eating your own dogfood", to use your own product.

Why don't you apply and ask your interviewers?

It would be interesting, but I like my job here. I just saw the careers page on the site and wondered if there was more passion for the product there than at most soulless places because it's pretty unique and has influenced its users' lives much more so than most tech products. If FB goes away, people would just return to conducting their social lives offline or through other means instead of being in the hamster wheel generating ad revenue for us. Tinder has enabled a wholly new dating subculture that couldn't exist without it.
