Question to everyone who has taken internal transfer from US to India, 1. How was the role hunting process like ? What did it involve ? Discussions/interviews , hair long did it take ? 2. What happened to your unvested equity / joining bonus ? 3. What kind of relocation assistance did you get. 4. How was the new salary / cost of living ratio in India ? 5. Were you happy with the decision ? @amazon, @microsoft @google
Just curious on the 'spaces' before each '?'. Not a big deal, but always wonder why people do it. Does it add any value or should we call out to change if it's a bad practice. Any suggestions from users?
Lol what? What does caste have to do with this
I guess Deutsche Bank got laid off from Blind as well 😂
In Amazon, you keep your yet to be vested stocks as it is. Your base salary will be revised and changed to what you should get in India at your level. Your new stock grant for upcoming years will be as per Indian norms.
Thanks for your reply, one question more. Do they pay you relocation for internal transfer if you last relocation is within 2 years?

Don’t do it unless u can keep USA salary
Man. US Salary in India you'd live like a god.
USA salary is not possible in India for the same role and position. Otherwise 90% would go back.
