Assimilation is not about accent lol. That sounds fairly bigoted regardless of whatever the original post was. I never saw the original post but otherwise you’re right: they work hard and pay taxes. However, while that is amazing, it, by itself, still is not full assimilation though. My personal belief is most immigrants themselves barely ever fully assimilate, but yes, their kids do. So it’s all good. Live your american dream, like Melania is living hers, and don’t worry too much
Bay Area schools are full of brown kids grouped together. They are the majority now. White is out and the world your children grow up in will never be the same.

Having an Indian accent doesn’t mean their verbal communication skills are bad. I’m an Indian and in my experience, I’ve seen Americans misuse grammar and speak bad English than the ones with bad accent. I’d rather have a heavy accent and good grammar and communication skills than the opposite. Peace ✌️
Neither accent, grammar nor spelling have anything to do with communication skills. In fact, enforcing grammar is kinda racist especially when consider dialects like inner city English.

It's not that Google dude alone. There are a couple of folks (probably the same guy/gal who keeps changing handles) from Amazon. One of them said Indians are "..bottom of the barrel idiots..." and another one feels Indians are "...economic refugees..." in the US. Mr hadron, in this post itself feels that the avg Indian can barely read and shits in ditch. He got even more angry and flagged my post, when I agreed with him!! 😁 My guess is these folks report to Indian bosses who spank them regularly at work! Their outbursts are more of catharsis than racism. I feel for them. Instead of hating them, let's love them back, let's empathize with them, because they need every bit of our kindness to survive in this Asian/Indian dominated profession

It's a well known fact that crime rates is extremely low amongst Indians, they're known to have high IQ. And, if someone really cares about culture, why don't they try to learn about Indian Culture?
Anytime someone says that they need to learn English and not have an accent , I like to remind them - “Have you heard Melania speak English? “ She is your First Lady . What is her contribution and assimilation to this country ?
