Training your boss

Not sure whether this is the correct topic for this but why do managers hire people who don't know the job and then instruct you to teach them (and call it training) then promote them over you?

      In the same boat as you! I just found out today that someone who is my age, has less than half of my experience and not even in the same field, whom I trained in ALL FIELDS, just got promoted to twice my salary with full benefits and more so FML!!! 😭😭😭

      I've lost respect for middle managers IMO they just get in the way of progress for their own selfish gains. With this way of thinking they'll die as middle management and will not get much further than they currently are.
