Is it true many Indian couples are in sexless marriage?
I talked with my manager and there is clear hint that I will very likely get a NI in the coming Perf in Sep. I am in the current team since I join in Google one year ago and I feel my background and interest does not fit that well. Right now I want to transfer to a new team as soon as possible to prevent getting stuck in this team because of the NI. My current manager also encourage me to do that and agreed to set no blockers for the transfer). Question here: 1. Looks like the rating in next perf will be mainly given by my current manager since there is not much time left in this circle. If I ramp up well in next team is there still chance that my good performance in the new team will somehow compensate for the "bad perf in current team" and a CME is given in Sep? 2. If the answer to question 1 is yes, then time really matters for me now. To accelerate, is it OK to apply to multiple listings on grow at the same time (to accelerate this process) without even schedule a chat with the hiring managers of those listings? What is the essence of the chat with hiring manager? Is it somehow like a "interview" so that without scheduling a chat with manger about this role they will feel this application is not serious? If I click "start application" directly without a chat with the manager, will they email me if they are interested in me after they see my perf?
Chat up the hiring managers first so they know you're serious. I never click the interest button until it's a done deal.
What’s wrong with Interest button?
Curious if you ultimately moved teams or stayed on the current team? Did things get better in the current team at Google.
