Transition from non-dev to PM?
Has anyone transitioned to PM from other technical but non-developer positions, such as sales, customer success or marketing? What challenges did you face and how did you overcome it?

I have seen people coming from sales, marketing ops becoming good pms. Mainly because they bought in good domain experience and customer empathy. Lot depends on culture of team and individuals ability. Dm me if you need more insights. By the way, I used manage a team of PMs.
Are those technical positions?
Yeah positions like solutions architect, technical marketing engineer, sales engineer, etc.
