Transitioning from f1 to h1b visa
Hello, I got my h1 approved from October 1 2019. I came to india for h1 stamping on Oct 31. I got my h1b stamped on November 6. My return flight to Usa is on December 10. But due to some personal reasons, i am planning to delay my flight to January 4. I am afraid that i am staying more than 2 months in India. Will this cause any problems to me from immigration or tax point of view. I am working from home during this span.
No issues. Looks like your employer is okay with this situation. That's all that matters.
Do you know if i will face any tax complications . Will i have to fill indian tax as well as us tax as i lived here for 2 months on my h1b and only 1 month on my h1b in usa
