I'm planning a trip to India, early next year. I'm in states on h1-b status and has no medical coverage on India. Should I buy travel medical coverage? If yes, any recommendations on where to buy?

Check your US insurance. Most will cover emergencies anywhere in the world. So your main risk is if you get non-emergency medical treatment, which tends to be inexpensive. With that said it's obviously important to confirm what your insurance covers

US insurance will not cover emergency medical evacuation, so look into a travel insurance like travel guard if that is a concern.

Medical expenses in India are 1/100th of the US, you don’t need a insurance for just visiting πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ
