Treadmill under 500$ - looking for recommendations

What’s a good treadmill under 500$. If I need to put more money in , what are the other options. I’m just over 200 pounds. I don’t go to gym regularly and so don’t want to repeat the same mistake of putting lot of money on a treadmill.

But I want something new

Doesn't matter used or new.. you are not going to use it at home as you have imagined. Join gym classes or get a trainer.

wtf is a threadmill? Your threads are too fat and need some training?

Budget is too small

I have never seen people actually use the treadmill they buy... they end up as coat hangers 99% of the time. Save the money and just jog outside or go to the gym.

Don't bother with a dreadmill, just go outside.

I know this isnt a direct answer but if your objective is to lose weight and you dont gym regularly, a treadmill is honestly money down the drain since you would follow the same pattern. There are free apps that help you go from 0 to 5k runs outside. Its more important to eat healthy(spend the $$$ on salads/healthy meal delivery/whey). If this works then buy a tread mill since you will know you can commit.

It's not threadmill it is treadmill. It is called so because people tread/run on it.

Corrected it

Get an indoors bike imo. Running indoors sucks. You can bike slowly in front of tv and burn more calories than 20 minutes at the gym since a movie is 2 hours and you can do it before and after bed

I would buy a rowing machine

Why not jog outside for free? I do.
