All great options TBH. I’m biased but it’s a great time to join DOCU. Work life culture and people are incredible here. Perks are top notch and stock is expected to perform well. People are hardworking but not cut throat. If I wasn’t here, my second choice would probably be Twilio.

Just for my own info, what does docusign do? Besides providing a platform for signatures?

It’s a common question. DocuSign provides what we’ve termed Agreement Cloud offerings, including a suite of products that allow you to prepare, sign , act on, and manage digital agreements. So not just signing docs. That’s one step in the agreement process. Ex. With our Salesforce specific integrated offerings, users can auto generate contracts based on SF data and a template with DocuSign, negotiate and red line that contract with our CLM product, and then send the final contract or for signature using eSignature. Just an example flow

Appreciate you for talking time to explain. But wondering how come there are no formidable competitors and how sticky is it? Is it really that hard for competitors to get into this space?

I think it is more about time to market and keep innovating for any company. I kind of see DocuSign is leading in this space and innovating https://www.docusign.com/products/rooms-for-real-estate similar to Twilio and CRM

No company has a perfect moat, but docu did a good job at being first to Market and creating a really good signer experience for end users, especially in use cases that have been extremely frustrating before (long lease agreements for renters and buyers). Moving forward, it’ll be all about building out the Agreement cloud through internal efforts and strategic acquisitions

Yeah, there is always a company to move to and there is always an employee to hire for. But the key is for an employee is to put 100% effort and try to learn and grow before moving on.

The culture at DocuSign is really good. I got refresher stock in 6 months. It is mostly dependent on performance. If you want to sit around and expect it.. it won’t happen. But if your performance is good... there is tremendous potential. Stock is also doing very well.

They don’t match initial grant. Most refreshers are between $50k-$100k.

At Director level, expect one refresher every 3-4 years.

    OP
Based on my DMs with employees here is the information I received about refreshers. Twilio is not guaranteed to have yearly refreshers and some people did receive refreshers, Salesforce gives after 4 years based on budget/performance. DocuSign does give yearly refreshers for most employees. Culture really depends on team in each company.

Director at Salesforce has better career potential. But infra at Salesforce has org changes every 6 months. Doesn't feel super stable.
    I wouldn't join DocuSign.

Salesforce is the lowest of all, 350 TC. Twilio is the highest. Also Salesforce role has limited scope for the position that was offered.
