I'm considering a Lead Analyst position at Twitter. Wondering what my TC expectation should be, not finding a lot of data here or Glassdoor. Not data scientist track. Don't want to give the org out, as it's relatively small. Hard requirements on the req are quant grad degree, 7+ YOE, SQL/python, with the usual team player, strong communicator, problem solving yada yada. No idea what grade it falls under in Twitter hierarchy. Currently $150k+ TC at small but well-funded startup. $135k base, 15k bonus, stock option but who knows if those are actually worth anything. My expectation is my base + bonus may go down or lateral, but overall TC will go up with RSUs. Other considerations: work life balance, unlimited PTO, and name on resume (I've worked at some decent companies, but all startups no one has heard of outside of their respective niches).
Should be around 180k TC.Most likely L6 business intelligence .L5 Business intelligence is around 150k TC
Thanks. Assuming this is based on Amazon given the L5/L6 nomenclature, but this is useful info.
Why would your base + bonus go down — you should expect 150 base or more. Also real tc with equity.
That was my expectation based on what little info I could find on Glassdoor, and salary results for "Senior Data Analyst" in San Francisco. Maybe Glassdoor is even more useless than I assumed. Is your 150 number based on experience at Twitter specifically, or just general market rate?
