Emailed the recruiter. Got one word reply. Emailed. Got reply - "Read link" At later point, emailed the recruiter. No greetings, nothing. Got a templated reply saying we are looking into applications... She didn't even care to greet with my name. What I received was "Hi BLANK, Thank you for .......". Totally unprofessional. I thought recruiters are the face of the company. Totally disinterested in Twitter now. Emailed about other deadline and interest in Twitter- "We can't expedite the process, we have shared resumes with hiring managers" This is the first company I see where recruiters are least interested in securing a talent.
Do you know who becomes recruiters ? Check their LinkedIn profile and you will come to know why they behave the way they behave.
What does this mean?
sounds like someone needs to read "The Great Recruitment Agency Infestation" https://hackerfall.com/story/dont-feed-the-beast--the-great-tech-recruiter-infe
Trumpism
Is this University recruiting?
Yes
Sorry this is happening. Our UR needs a huge improvement. Industry recruiting is much better tho.
OP I’d encourage you to name the recruiter. Our university recruiting team sucks b**** and I want them to read this - it’s sad that below average recruiters are making it to Twitter
I think that would be unprofessional from my side. Second, I might get identified too which I of course don't want.

Tipping culture is really getting out of control! Waiter gave me ‘a look’ because I tipped her 10% for ‘BAD service!’
They are Twitter recruiters. They have 140 character limit. If you need lengthy and verbose messages full of salutations join Yahoo.
