Recently i have received an offer from two sigma for a SWE position. I am wondering if anyone has insight on the bonus structure. I was really impressed with the people/projects when I interviewed, and thinking of accepting. The first year you get a fixed bonus, after that how much does the bonus typically rise year over year? (Assuming average to above average performance) In other words, say your bonus starts at 100K. If you are the median swe engineer in terms of performance, how much will your bonus be at the end of next year?
Once you have three offers, you'll achieve six sigma
Expect a growth of 20-25% YoY for average folks.
Thanks for the data point. Did you work at TS in the past?
No but a similar hedge fund in the past.

[Harsh Truth] Agile sprints are designed to make employees take no leaves 🙄🙄
What's your offer? Just curious.
I am not willing to share exact numbers. The offer is structured very differently than the typical tech company offer. Instead of stock there is a large year end performance based bonus. While very, very competitive i do have a few higher competing offers if factoring in rsu growth. I believe the crazy high comp numbers posted by others for jane/2sig are for quants and not SWE
Ah, cool. Thanks though.
