Had a Two Sigma recruiter reach out to me. Heard it’s a hard interview, in the off chance things go well what are some lesser known perks at Two Sigma? Mega backdoor Roth? Secret employee only funds?
My interview was much harder than Google and FB
The interview was equally as hard as Google and FB
My new grad interview was harder than my recent Google interview
Perks seem a lot worse than standard top tier tech companies: - No free food - 401k match is only up to 5k and is paid out over 4 years instead of the instant 9k at G and FB. If you leave you lose the remaining portion. - Doesn't pay for your phone plan - A large chunk of your pay is in the discretionary annual bonus so if you leave before the end of the year you get nothing and basically only got paid your base pay all year long
Who pays your phone plan :)
FB, Google, think LinkedIn too
There is mega backdoor Roth and employees can invest in employee only funds that perform really well (you’ll get some data of you get an offer).
Nice, thanks for the response
Aren't you only allowed to invest 20% of your annual bonus into that fund?
Employee only fund is huge
How huge?
Yeah I’d love to know what the returns are like
How does one manage to get noticed by two sigma recruiters
