Typical tenure in the Bay Area

What’s considered a healthy tenure with a company in the Bay Area for tech jobs? Just moved here, moved jobs since then and have another potential opportunity coming for a company I’ve been eyeing for years. 3 companies in 7 months bad?

This is posted under "Relationships", so I would say having 3 in 7 months is 3 more than most guys.

If you were at a company 2 months or less just leave it off your resume. Nobody cares, you did not create any value there, you might as well have been taking a vacation in between jobs.

Are you an engineer? Valid excuse to leave or just due to TC?

Data analytics. First company I left was for a valid reason. The job/team changed a week after starting (felt like I went backwards 5 years in my career). Currently happy where I am but the company I’m speaking with now is one I’ve been passionate about for years now

I hope your dream company is what u expect. If current company is a good place you have a reason to stay. It is not easy to be happy in a job. Sometimes you get more money but less satisfacting job. Anyway best wishes!

You'll probably burn bridges at current co, but if it's your dream job AND you plan to stay a while then I'd go.
