I guess employees don't have that much confidence on their own company
Uber has been sinking to new lows for years now.
Confidence != Valuation. There are companies I'm very confident about that I would sell in a second if they were trading at 2x the current price.
Are you just saying that you can have a narrow confidence interval around a target price below the current valuation? That’s fine but as an investor I don’t want the employees who know more to be more confident than me in a price lower than I’m trading
There was a Uber employee that once told me to go innovate something at Apple (or make my next crap iPhone - something along those line), because I told them Uber had tough future with lawsuits and lack of profitability. I’m still wishing you luck buddy.
