US contract hourly rates - senior security engineer
Hi, I have a final interview scheduled with Zebra technologies and they want my final hourly rate for this position. I am Canadian and am not sure of the US market and the contractual rates. Would anybody give me an insight on what to ask ? And also explain the in and out of contracting? Thanks!
Ten years experience and location is Illinois , Lincolnshire
$80-100 or so , it’s a low cost location and I imagine very few companies

You are the first one to get laid off if there is any need , u don’t get health insurance ( buy Obamacare ) , no paid ptos, depending on company culture some ppl might be condescending
No health insurance , no paid vacation , you would have to do all the leg work for billing and payment ( normal with contracting) and some companies treat you very differently
