Do you think this will stop Uber's growth?

Uber, defying a newly passed California bill that would designate its drivers as employees, has declared the workers weren’t aren't “core” to its ride-hail business. Speaking less than a day after the Senate approved the measure, the company said that it would continue to treat the drivers as independent contractors. Uber, along with Lyft and DoorDash, are seeking to be exempted from the new law and have also pledged to pursue a ballot measure to rewrite it.

Communism is fixing the “injustice” of the fact that people at the top of companies get all the profits while people at the bottom don’t. That’s literally the fundamental tenet of communism. Whenever you hear about class warfare and “fighting for workers rights” in leftist states, that is communism.

That’s not communism. Communism implies that the government takes over the means of production. You can have unions and less income inequality without communism. See the social democracies in Europe.

Nah I think my factual definition of communism is conflicting with your Twitter definition of communism.

So even the Uber guy cannot comprehend the government (California) is trying to take over and direct his company’s means of production (the drivers). I’d say go read a book on Marxism, but you can’t even see it when it’s right in front of your own eyes.

Lol, not core. It'd definitely be a solid business with no drivers. They better get that self driving shit going quick.

Self driving is at least 10 years away. They're overvalued and will receive their correction. They won't die though
