I had a phone interview and I wrote the code with out any errors and passed all the tests, but I analyzed the space complexity wrong, but eventually got it right. what is the impact it will have on the decision of me moving forward Thanks
Too late. They already hired me.
Were you asked questions from leetcode?
I was rejected even though code was perfect(passed all test cases) but my initial analysis was wrong which I corrected finally. These days looks like you have to be perfect or be able to skip these weird coding robot style phone interviews.
Interviews have come far from finding the ability to code and reason to attending time code test. Facebook is one company which is doing exactly the same and now Uber too. I got some relief at Amazon when in debriefing I found out that the discussion was not about solving problem in time but to have ability to understand and reason.
