Uber recruiter disappeared
Hahahahaha I was referred at Uber and had applied at 2 roles. Both recruiters contacted me. I have been asked by the first one to wait for director to come from vacation in order to schedule a talk. And the second one has decided to wait and see where the first one would go. Both disappeared and haven’t responded to my emails... Any hint about how to approach this? I send many follow up emails to no avail.

If they want you, they will reach out. Otherwise, don't sweat it. There's nothing you can do that will change the outcome, unfortunately. The last thing you want to come off as, is appearing desperate.

Mine too. Uber recruiters are pretty unprofessional. She suggested a technical role which fits my profile great and in which I am a domain expert. I’m an L6 SDM at Amazon and the role is an IC role that is probably a lateral move and would match TC, at best. But I was interested. Nevertheless, recruiter ghosted me. Oh well, not sweating it.
