Do interviewers look at details about the candidate like GitHub or project links? Is resume any useful after getting a call?
As a hiring manager, I do. A candidate should be able to speak about anything they listed on their resume. If they can’t, it is a red flag. You are better off including your portfolio with brief project summaries on your resume rather than just a link to GitHub. I’m busy, the candidate’s resume should explain why I would want to click on the link to see their work.
