User Researcher compensation?
Current PM at Amazon. Saw a role that seems with title of user researcher but responsibilities seem similar to PM. Anyone know if this is generally a high comp role within FAANG? If I have 7 YOE as PM (2 at amzn), what should I expect? Not much info on Levels or Glassdoor.
Iβve been a User Researcher, Designer Researcher, Interaction Designer and Product designer.... Walked a PM through a case study once and at the end he was like so you do my job and then some? I guess the answer is yes?

Lol I wouldnβt trust most product designers to conduct user research. Most are graphic designers that have turned their focus to designing digital screens but have no real experience with research methods, analyzing data whether qualitative or quantitative.
