Would you rather be a midlevel user researcher at Google on existing products or on new products at Amazon? I'm looking at an internal transfer for Amazon or a position at Google. At Amazon we are shipping new products and services. There is also a ton of room for growth. I know the quality of life is better at Google but I'm worried that the work will be very slow. I've got about 4 years of experience since graduate school and I'm at a transitional time in my career. I'm not yet at "settle down" mode but close to it. Any advice is welcome!

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
Stick with Amazon and do more awesome things... And then plan to start your own company :) The easy life is for the weak and untalented.
Exactly what I've been thinking :). Do you work at amazon?
No, but I respect the company and its ideals.
