Stick with VTI and VXUS. Avoid IT specific funds. You already work in tech, you don't need to concentrate risk in one industry any more than you already do.

If you are active trader and have free trades then go for ETF. Mutual funds won’t have to pay trading fees. So, make sure the decision to go with Mutual funds vs ETF needs to consider.

They are identical except the way they trade. ETFs trade on an exchange throughout the day and mutual funds only trade once per day at marker close. For long term investors there's no real difference.
VTSAX OR VTI VTIAX OR VTI VITAX OR VGT Mutual fund or its equivalent ETF and in the order based on funds. Start with minimum for mutual funds and add bi-weekly or monthly.
