Visited the Google Mt. View cafeteria and almost everyone there is either Chinese or Indian.
What gives? Is this the definition of diversity? Everyone in groups were of the same ethnicity and speaking their native language. This was a shock to me because Google kept promoting diversity in almost every social media outlets.
From what I know most tech companies don't consider Chinese or Indian males as diversity hires

Literally half the world is Chinese or South Indian, what more do you expect? Asians typically perform better academically, at least in the US, so they also fill a lot of the high paying jobs.
Well because majority are engineers and fortunately or unfortunately my friend most of the engineers in the world are chinese or indians... It is time you get used to this fact. If it still is difficult to believe, visit any universities engineering program (masters) and you are going to find only indians and chinese... so where are the fuck are they going to hire other engineers from?
...same place where they seem to want to hire female engineers from in the name of diversity?
Unfortunately these Indians and Chinese have no life, they just focus on education, values, family, savings and future and they absolutely don’t feel superior or entitled at all, losers.
I am an Indian and I visited the SNV cafeteria recently and was like woahhh there is so much diversity at google unlike what I see in other places :P
